The Center for Language Science will organize a Workshop entitled "Translating Language Science Research to Practice" on February 24, 2015, in Arlington VA. This Workshop has been made possible by generous support from the Science of Learning Centers Program at NSF to Penn State’s PIRE project: Bilingualism, mind, and brain: An interdisciplinary program in cognitive psychology, linguistics, and cognitive neuroscience. The goal of the Workshop is to help us learn how best to Bridge the basic science to practice and to do that in a context that acknowledges the unique contributions of an international approach. The Workshop brings together researchers in the US and abroad with different types of expertise in the language and learning sciences.
