Graduate students visiting with CLS speaker Laura Sabourin to give talks

This week's CLS colloquium speaker, Dr. Laura Sabourin, visits us with three of her graduate students, Michele Burkholder, Santa Vinerte, and Jean-Christophe Leclerc. These graduate students will share their work with us on Thursday April 27, from 9:00-11:00 am, in 119 Moore

The titles and abstracts of their talks are attached, and here is the overview of the morning:

9:00-9:30  Michele Burkholder: Novel word learning in L1 and L2 French: An ERP investigation of grammatical gender assignment and processing
9:30-10:00      Santa Vinerte: Exploring Cognitive Control in Young Adult Bilinguals
10:00-10:30   Jean-Christophe Leclerc: Multiple and verbal code-switching in French English bilinguals
10:30-11:00   Discussion
