Using corpus and brain imaging data of abstract and concrete words, I am investigating the accuracy rates of different machine learning techniques (e.g., semantic space models, support vector machines, and neural networks) as they attempt to predict neurotypical brain activation or word classification. This information may then inform therapies for people with aphasia.
